Are you currently using twitter? Twitter is a tool that will allow you to communicate with hundreds if not thousands of people at a time and 140 characters or less. Basically, twitter is an instant messenger on a massive scale. What I mean by that is twitter allows you to join in the conversations of many people at the same time. So, two people could be having a conversation and you could jump right in. You do this by following other users and users following you. Once users are following you and you are following them you can see each other's tweets. A tweet is the 140 character message you send across the twitter platform. You can add pictures, links, or just use plain text in your tweets. But, there is one restriction. You must do this in 140 characters or less. It is really an awesome platform. This platform is great for building relationships with potential customers and clients. You can easily start driving traffic and sales to your webpages with relative ease. The great thing about twitter is all the barriers are usually down. So, that makes it extremely easy to communicate with people. People you once thought were unreachable are now reachable. People you could never have dreamed of getting a hold of, you can now get a hold of. It is really a great platform and want to be used with respect. Do not try to spam the platform because it will only backfire on you. Now, to get into the point of this article. There are two essential tools I use when using twitter. And those two tools are TweetLater and TweetDeck. In the following paragraphs I am going to tell you why I like these tools so much. TweetLater essentially allows you to automate some of the processes and building relationships with twitter. You can not only send follow-up messages at scheduled times using twitter, but you can instantly send a welcome message, not a spam message, to all of your new followers. Plus, you can automatically follow every one that follows you. I would highly suggest doing this. Because following everyone that follows you shows respect. Plus, it allows you to build relationships that much easier. TweetDeck is a tool that allows you to manage your twitter account with ease. You can easily follow the conversations between a time of different twitter users using TweetDeck. This application is a desktop application that will allow you to easily follow all of your tweets, all of your replies and all of your direct messages. TweetDeck alliances these different categories into different columns so they are easily viewable and readable.
