How often do you see a restaurant’s logo in a magazine or newspaper and make that instant judgment about the place based on their brand mark? Always! What would you think of a local pizza place with a light blue colored image of a polar bear having a slice of a pizza? Chances are that you would never want to visit there because just looking at the image makes you think of a cold and stiff pizza slice. Logos play as important role in the dining industry as it does in others. A food place pictorial with the right colors, graphics and effects is most likely to appeal to your customers even if it’s a place that they haven’t heard of before. So, let’s see what characteristics can make a food logo design mouth-watering. 1.Food related images or symbols: Use images in your company mark that are related to the type of meals you are serving in your restaurant. For example, for a Mexican dinette, you can use chili and jalapeno graphics in the trademark. For a sea food diner, you can use illustrations of fish, lobsters or crabs along with a set of fork and knife. Fonts with a slightly curvy or italic effect are most appropriate in this case as they give the air of a calm and relaxed attitude.
