5 Fund Raising Ideas In The Australian Community

By: MJ Jose Home | Business

Whether it is for an Australian school field trip or a local charity fundraising is a great way to raise money for that special event or organization. But the challenges are big if you do not know what you are doing. Finding different fund raising ideas can be intense even for the creative mind. For that reason I have designed the following fund raising ideas one can implement for any cause.

1. Amusement Rides †Amusement rides are great for adults and kids and serves as one of the biggest return on investments out of all the fund raising ideas. Setting up an amusement ride can be tough so it is better to hire carnival experts to do it for you and operate it as well. Sure that will cost a fee but you will make more money. The key to its success is also the publication of it. That means let all the local Australian communities know that you are setting up an amusement park filled with rides and stuffed animals that can be won. When a lot of people know about the event they will be itching to come and that’s when you will be able to raise the money desired for local charities or other organizations such as schools.

2. Bottled Water †Selling bottled water is another one of the many great fund raising ideas because every drinks water. Australia can get very hot and sometimes the climate is so unbearable that people become very thirsty throughout the day. So the best thing to do is position a water stand where the public frequents so that passers by will see your stand and buy the bottled water from you. You can also imprint the charity organization or school that you are fundraising for on the bottle so that you will create a bigger awareness towards your organization.

3. Glow Sticks †Selling glow sticks is really popular especially at the Australian school dances. Every kid loves glow sticks and you can be sure that a lot of students will buy the glow sticks that you are selling. Of course you have to get permission from the schools to sell the glow sticks but it is well worth it.

4. Gift Wrapping †The previous online shopping sites can be done anytime but this particular one works best around special occasions like Valentines Day and Christmas. Australians love to shop for gifts around Christmas time and all those gifts they buy need to be wrapped. What better way to fundraise than to offer a gift-wrapping service at your local Australian store? This will generate tons of cash.

5. Donation Shopping †The last fund raising idea is to get people to shop at online shopping sites that give back to charities. What this consist of is registering a charity site of their choice with the online shopping site so that every time they purchase a product money is given to the charity of their choice. This works really well especially when you select a charity and get others to select the same charity as the charity of choice.
