In this article I show you 5 quick and easy yet highly effective strategies to quickly boost your search engine ranking: Step 1: Write some articles about your chosen niche. Writing and then publishing articles using online article directories such as E-Zine articles, Article City or Go Articles can be one of the best ways to improve your search engine ranking through targeted optimization of your website. By linking from these articles to your site you are not only able to generate large amounts of traffic to your website but more importantly you will be build a large network of relevant back links to your website which will be picked up by the search engines like Google. The search engines having seen that your site is linked to other similar and relevant content will then improve your rankings. If you want to increase the number of links to your site you can use a paid service such as Auto Article Marketing or Submit Your Article. Both of these services will distribute you article to a larger network of article websites which in turn will create even more relevant one way back links to your website. Step 2: Use link building networks. As I mentioned in the previous step the greater the number of relevant back links the greater the authority Google will place on your site. So make it your objective to get your website listed on as many relevant high page rank websites as possible. This can of course be a time consuming task as you could face endless hours posting on blogs just to build up your back links. I would recommend a service such as link varna which automates link distribution for you so you can spend more time on other aspects of your business. Step 3: Write and then submit press releases. Internet marketing and web site promotion if not handled properly can be an expensive venture. This is why i love press releases as a cost-effective and efficient way of promoting a website to a larger audience. When submitting a press release or article you must always remember that the aim of the submission is to send visitors to your website and to improve your search engine ranking through quality back links. Therefore, always remember to include a link back to your website by including your URL in the resource box which accompanies all article and press release submissions. Step 4: Use social media. I am sure many people reading this are familiar with social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter. How many of you actually use these sites or other third party sites such as Squidoo, Blogger or Hub Pages to drive traffic to your website. On of the most effective tactics you can use is to create feeder pages on these sites to send traffic to your personal or company website.
