Wouldn't that make your work a whole lot easier? Here are 5 simple steps that you can follow when writing articles. Step 1: Think about your target audience. Step 1: Think about your target audience. Before you start writing, stop for a moment to think about your target audience. What are the keywords they are likely to use in the search engine when searching for information? What is the profile of your target audience? Keyword tools can reveal the average monthly searches for each particular keyword phrase. Step 2: Generate a list of relevant keywords. Consolidate all your keywords and compile a list of keywords. Do this once a week - at the start or end of each week. This will ensure that you never run out of keywords to use. Use as many different words as you can. The more keywords you use, the more traffic you are going to receive. Step 3: Write 5 article titles based on those keywords. Everyday, when you write, focus on just one set of keywords. Write down five article titles based on the keyword phrase you have chosen. The title will help you generate the content for the article body. Step 4: Follow a fixed format. When you follow a fixed format, you never have to worry about organizing your content. Some article marketers spend 30 minutes writing just one article. Why? They finished writing the article in 15 minutes, then spend another 15 minutes organizing the content! That will eat into your writing time. If you are not careful, valuable time will be wasted. Step 5: Keep your concentration when writing. Find a room or space where you are unlikely to be disturbed. For example, writing in the living room where the kids are playing is not a good idea. The TV is on, the kids are running around making a lot of noise, and that affects your concentration. When your focus is affected, your writing slows down or stop completely. You can never pick up the momentum to write quickly. So don't let others disturb you while you write. The kids want to play? Sure, but that have to come after you have completed your article writing.
