5 Tips For The Perfect Golf Swinging Biomechanics

By: Abhishek Agarwal Home |

One important concept in golf is the bio-mechanics involved in golf swinging. It talks about the movement of the body and the motion you give to your body when you swing. To hit the ball far and to bring accuracy in the shot you must make use of proper bio-mechanics. By paying a little attention to improve your bio-mechanics you can not only score better but also gain confidence in your game and on the course. you should pay attention to the bio-mechanics as it would play a important role in bringing proficiency in your swing.

A few important guidelines of bio-mechanics of golf swinging are appended below. These should be studied carefully and kept in mind while playing. If you learn the tips and execute them properly you will definitely improve your game a lot.

1. Attention is to be given to swing plane. You should try and have an even swing and the arc which it follows should be the same with all swings.

2. Important part of the bio-mechanics is balance. To improve balance, you should have a firm swing foundation when you attend to the ball. The space between your feet should be more than the width of the shoulders and the arms should comfortably hang when the ball is set up. The tip is that you should not reach for the ball and you should not have your arms too close to body. Balance can e achieved by a good position and posture.

3. Teaching and training aids are also available for improving the bio-mechanics. You can use the tools for practice and develop better golf swing. Try to have a rhythm for yourself which should be standard for any club you hold. The faster you swing, the more the ball would travel. Keep in mind that do not swing so fast that it offsets your balance. Balance once disturbed can spoil the whole swing.

4. The core of the body decides the type of swing you will have and the bio-mechanics will also be determined by the harmonious working of the body. You should not concentrate on certain things when improving bio-mechanics. These are shoulders, arms, hips and wrists. Concentrate on the core body movement and try to coordinate the movement of body parts required for the swing. The key to good swinging is a movement which involves all requisite body pats involved judiciously in generating the swing.

5. If you have a sound body shape the bio-mechanics would improve. Carry out exercises to tone and trim your body. These exercises are specially designed for golfers. Concentrate on flexibility and o strength development during the exercises. Carry out some stretching before starting the game; this would help in enhancing the swinging performance.
