7 Proven Tips That Will Guarantee You Burn Stubborn Fat

By: zechong cai Home | Health-and-Fitness | Weight-Loss

Having over weight or increased belly fat can trap you in many health troubles. Most of us find the dieting and exercise a very boring and traditional way to shed out the excess layer fat. The SIMPLE truth is if you are struggling to lose fat you can accomplish that goal by simply taking the time to learn some solid information about HOW your body burns fat and what PREVENTS you from burning fat.

1. Try and eliminate red meat from your diet, and instead include white meat which is lean, and a great source of protein. Fish such as salmon and tuna are rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids, that are healthy fats required by the body. Chicken is also a good option, being a rich source of protein. Eaten grilled, or boiled, these make for great foods to be included in the flat stomach diet. Opt for leaner cuts of meat such as pork, beef and turkey.

2. Know yourself. Maintaining a healthy weight is important. Being overweight can be dangerous, but so can being underweight; also, losing weight too fast can be dangerous. Make sure that you set healthy and realistic goals based on your ability and current physical state. Yo-yo diets (diets you pursue for a short time, then quit) are bad for your body and make it harder to lose when you resume your diet. Consult a physician or fitness expert to determine your healthy target weight and help you set a time line.

3. Start off by adding some staple food to your diet that is currently missing. Look to add some more fruit and veg to your existing diet. My biggest advice is NOT to cut out what you're used to immediately, or even any of your comfort foods. Instead, simply add some healthy extra portions into your daily eating habits in order to balance out your nutrients. By doing this, it will keep your muscles happy, which in the end is what you need to lose belly fat quickly and enjoyably.

4. Eliminate all sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and simple carbs. Ok this is really what NOT to eat. But it is JUST as critical to eliminate all foods this group. These foods will PREVENT your body from burning fat cells PERIOD. The more of this junk you have in your system the less likely you will burn off any fat EVEN if you are exercising AND eating the right foods. It's extremely COUNTERPRODUCTIVE to lose fat while eating these foods.

5. Vegetables, eaten stir fried, grilled, or in the form of a salad, are always great to lose belly fat. You can eat, broccoli, spinach, celery, capsicum, cauliflower, carrots, artichokes, onions, sweet potatoes, and other healthy greens as part of your lunch. If you wish, you may include a very small amount of potatoes in your meal.

6. Good nutrition is essential to losing belly fat, or any fat. You're going to need to maintain a consistently healthy lifestyle if you're going to bust that belly fat. This means that a diet rich in vitamins and minerals is key, along with healthy fats (such as those found in avocados), whole grains, lots of proteins, and water for hydration. Specific dietary needs will vary, so consult a dietitian or do it yourself with the government's latest nutrition recommendations, called My Pyramid.

7. You must eat foods that keep blood sugar stable, which really is the key to losing fat. To accomplish this eat chicken breast, lean beef, eggs, milk, butter, olive oil, avocado, salmon, seafood, foods made with ONE ingredient. These are just a few. This article cannot give you each specific food to eat however foods that keep blood sugar down, promote fat lose and taste good are endless.
