What Are Security CCTV Systems: CCTV is a common name at present. It is hard to think of anyone in the present times who has not heard of CCTVs. CCTV stands for â€closed circuit television’. This is a kind of security system for public or, private places. It is also a form of video surveillance system. The only difference lies in the fact that being â€closed circuit’, anyone outside the circuit will not be able to view the footage. This is not primarily for the sake of catching robbers in health facilities (as we all know that robbers are usually not too keen on stealing bed pans etc.). This is mainly to keep the progressing or, deteriorating health of the patients in close view of the doctors. Take for instance if some unforeseen accident takes place anywhere in the hospital, the security will get to know it immediately and take measures for the same before it gets worse. Unauthorized entry of entities, mischievous hospital staff etc cannot escape the CCTV systems. When it comes to installing security CCTV systems in the residential living areas, the benefits are far too many to list in one page. To begin with, one can keep a track of who is coming in and who is going out of the area. Any shady entity can be given the boot before he / she can make an attempt at the health and wealth of the people residing within the area. Any kind of threat existing within the house can be easily detected and taken care of as well. Besides these, CCTV systems can be used by employers to keep a check on employees. Who is working and who is sleeping, who uses office property and who steals it so on and so forth can be tracked with these systems.
