A Dedicated Web Design Company Suggestion For A Google Ppc Campaign

By: Susan McCrossin Home | Internet-and-Business | Web-Design

Pennsylvania Web Design companies do the best they can with optimized code, well-written content, links from well-respected sites, and verification on Google and Bing. Sometimes, if the market is very competitive, it is also necessary to use Google Adwords campaigns to get quick exposure for a brand new website.

A pay-per-click (PPC) campaign can boost your company’s visibility in web search results, even if you don’t show up on organic search results. PPC advertising allows your business to show up in â€sponsored search,†or paid listings, and target customers who are actively searching for your products or services by bidding on keywords that will then display your ads. In many cases, this ad exposure helps your business grow by providing quality leads. PPC results show on a Google page in the sponsored listing areas on the top of the page and on the right side.

To get started with a PPC campaign, you will need to determine an appropriate bidding strategy and budget. Google PPC has tools to help you in this area, and also tools to help you generate lists of search or keyword phrases that will trigger your ad to appear. When your ads show, people click, and clicks can bring targeted searchers right to the page of your site where the product or service they are looking for is located. This usually increases leads or sales.

However, it isn’t some thing that you can set up and forget about. Google PPC management requires constant attention to ensure that your ads are working to bring in the targeted traffic you want, and to make sure that you are getting the return on investment that makes the service worthwhile. PPC maybe something you would feel more comfortable hiring a certified Google Adwords professional to manage for you. In the PPC model, you pay Google whenever anyone clicks on your ad. If you use a PPC management company to help you with your campaigns, you will also have to pay them a management fee. Some of the many aspects of PPC management include: detailed keyword research, copy writing, uploading keywords and ads, bidding strategies, and landing page construction, if necessary.

Google is constantly improving their bread-and-butter Adwords services. Over the past year there have been several new features added to offer better targeting. In many of our client’s campaigns these new features have significantly boosted PPC results. This Pennsylvania Website Design company offers a list of the new features with links to help you learn more about them.

Site Links within PPC Ads

This feature allows you to show links to pages on your site inside your PPC ad instead of just one URL. You can show up to 4 site links at a time on an ad, and you can setup to 10 links in your campaign rotation. So as an example, you may want to show a link directly to your services page or your free download page, and right within your PPC ad, someone can click through to the exact page they want to see. This way you can up-sell or cross-sell right from your PPC ad.

Mobile Targeting

With this PPC feature you can choose the types of devices you would like your PPC ads to appear on, including the iPod. It would be a good idea to create a landing page for your ad that works specifically with the device you choose to show these ads on.

Remarketing

Remarketing allows you to show another ad to people who have already visited your site. These people can come to your site in any way, such as through a PPC ad, by directly typing in your URL, through an email link, or through an organic search, and Google will capture their IP addresses. Remarketing stores their IP address and as they search in the Google content network, it shows them targeted ads that encourage them to click through back to your site.Using Remarketing, you can put visitors into groups and target ads to these groups. For instance you may want to remarket to shoppers who have abandoned your cart after adding items. These groups of IP addresses will be served ads to recapture their attention as they browse other sites on the Content Network. These ads could take them to a special coupon landing page or pay offering free shipping. You can also remarket to people who bought an item, and that you would like to offer them a related item. You can remarket to people who will need replacement parts after a set amount of time. You can even combine some of these options for a custom set of ads.It is fairly easy to add the JavaScript code necessary for Remarketing Adwords. If Adwords are connected to Google Analytics, you will be able to start tracking the success of the Remarketing in a few hours.

Product Extensions

Another new Adwords feature former chants is Product Extensions. You can make your ads more appealing by connecting your Google Merchant center account to your Adwords account, allowing you display product photos within your PPC text ad. This not only makes your ad look better, but it pushes competitors’ ads further down the page.

In either case, if you have never tried using Google Adwords, you may want to experiment because in a very short amount of time, you will be able to determine whether it is a good return on your advertising dollar investment.
