A New View On The Saturn Vue: Rev Your Engines!

By: lowmileageengines Home | Automotive

Nothing is more exciting than sitting in your brand new car, with all the new accessories and equipment to look at and explore. However, the most important part of your new car can be found under the hood. A high quality, powerful engine can make your driving experience great every time you drive. And when it comes to engines, a Saturn engine is the one to have. Not only does Saturn offer a wide range of products, but every Saturn car comes with a powerful Saturn engine that will blow the other competitors out of the water.

The Saturn Vue has traditionally provided one of the best engines around. Take, for example, the 2009 Satrn Vue. With amazing horsepower and torque, the 2009 Saturn Vue is a front runner in both power and performance. Introduced in 2009, the 2.4 liter inline 4 Saturn Engine produces 164 horsepower and 160 pound-feet of torque. With this kind of power and performance, the Saturn Vue is ready to fly! Not only is this Saturn engine available but there is also a 3.5-liter V6 that is availabe on the Saturn Vue XE. This Saturn engine is unbelievable! It has 215 horsepower and 220 lb-feet torque in its six-speed automatic transmission. And the amazement doesn't end there. A A 3.6-liter V6 Saturn engine was available on the Saturn Vue XR standard in 2008 and optional in 2009. This Saturn engine generated 257 horsepower and 248 pound-feet torque on a 6 speed automatic transmission. With all of these options for a powerful and efficient engines, who would choose anything but a Saturn engine?

Historically, Saturn has provided consistently strong engines in all its Saturn Vue models. In 2002-2005, Saturn offered the continuously variable transmission. In addition, the Saturn Vue was equipped with 143 horsepower, 2.2-liter four cylinder engine. The best thing about this Saturn engine was the improved fuel mileage when compared to other transmissions such as the five-speed automatic transmission. In 2004, the Saturn Vue featured a powerful V-6 with 181 horsepower and later added a with a 3.5-liter V6 250 horsepower Saturn engine that was both powerful and efficient.

And the environmentally-friendly Saturn Vue Hybrid engine loses nothing in power and performance. The e.p.a. fuel economy rating of 25 m.p.g. in town and 32 m.p.g. in the country make it an industry leader for any sport utility. And innovation is the key in this Saturn engine. Many hybrid engines use a discrete electric motor that will operate much like an gasoline engine. Saturn's "Green Line" has produced a belt alternator-starter that shuts off when the car comes to a complete stop, thereby eliminating gas usage while the car idles.
