Other parts of the island are easily reached from this part of the island with major roads leading to town and right up to the airport in the north. Phuket Town, Central Festival and Tesco are just a 20 minutes' drive away. The scenic coastal road takes you directly to the tourist areas of Kata and Karon beach, where further north up the coast Patong's nightlife, bars and party people awaits. You get the best of both worlds living in Rawai, with peace and tranquillity at your doorstep and entertainment just a short drive away. Property and land for sale Rawai is more affordable than the prime areas and if you want to be in a quiet area then Rawai fits the bill perfectly. When it comes to buying land or property in Rawai, you need to be quick off the mark if you see something you like at the right price, because it will not stay on the market for long due to the closeness to the main beaches and attractions plus the facilities offered. New land in Rawai Beach with mountain or sea views can still be found at affordable prices if you know where to look. You can also consider buying a plot of land instead of a house, and design and built your own from scratch so that whatever you want can be incorporated. It is prudent to make yourself aware and familiar with the rules and regulations regarding property ownership for foreigners, instead of relying on what others tell you.
