Whether you are a young boy interested in playing hockey or an aspiring collegiate hockey superstar, the main priority of hockey schools is to play this game with as much passion as you can †while staying within the rules of play. The sessions that you will go through in this game are rigorous but are also designed to bring about great results, a higher appreciation for the game of hockey and to know how to function at high tempos using minimal down time while on the ice. Aside from this, the programs are also designed to develop a sense of teamwork among players and a sense of respect for your opponents, thus dispelling the notion that hockey is a brutal game that does not care for others. Aside from this, the program aims to develop motivation within one’s self and a sense of organization, discipline and creativity. Programs in hockey camps also have portions that are dedicated to Team Concepts. This is also related to one’s age and ability to play the game. In this portion, team skill development is tackled. You learn how to pass the puck back and forth through drills, as well as timing the flow. You will practice puck support to be able to defend it really well.
