A Touch From Htc

By: Archie Lopez Home | Internet-and-Business | Auctions

Other than LG, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, and particularly Nokia, which are known to have dominated the mobile phone market, other mobile phone manufacturers have also risen in the market because of their one of a kind Cellular phones for sale. One popular example is Apple's iPhone which is considered as the first mobile phone to have integrated the touchscreen functionality into a more innovative feature. But other than the iPhone, other manufacturers have also released some of the most popular is the HTC Touch.

A Touch From HTC
To those that doesn't know HTC; HTC or High Tech Computer Corporation, is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of primarily Microsoft Windows Mobile-based portable devices. Today, HTC provides its own HTC self-branded products, as well as supporting its operator-branded products and its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners. One of the most popular models of Cellular phones for sale that HTC have manufactured is the HTC Touch.

The HTC Touch, also known as the HTC P3450 or its codename the HTC Elf, is a Windows Mobile 6-powered Pocket PC designed and manufactured by HTC. Similar to iPhone, HTC Touch is also known for its touchscreen capabilities. However, its main and unique feature is a user interface named TouchFLO that detects a sweeping motion and can distinguish between a finger and a stylus. TouchFLO incorporates stylus-free access to a music player, a photo album, a video player and a picture-based contact book.

The global launch of the Touch was in Leicester Square, London, on June 5, 2007 (2007-06-05) , and the phone was initially available in two colours: black and green. The carrier bound names for this phone include Verizon Wireless XV6900, T-Mobile MDA Touch, O2 XDA Nova, Okta Touch and Vodafone VPA Touch. HTC shipped 1 million Cellular phones for sale within 5 months of the launch, and shipped another million in the following 6 months

In November 2007, HTC started to sell an "Enhanced" Touch, also known as the HTC P3452 or its codename the HTC Elfin, with double the RAM and ROM of the original version (128MB and 256MB respectively). The newer version is also available in two new colors: white and burgundy. For more information visit to our site at http://buyandsellplus.com
