About Air Purifiers

By: William Faylor Home |

Air purifiers are very important to a healthy home environment, a fact that has been proven by individuals who have suffered from allergies and other breathing problems. The air that they breath has been cleaned of all impurities which caused their respiratory problems. Air purifiers differ, however, as to settings and processing procedures employed by competing manufacturers.

The function of the air purifier is removing impurities from the air by trapping and filtering the air which results in the release of particle free air. The design of the air purifier is particularly important when it is applied to a large area. The purifiers offered by most manufacturers are most effective when applied to small and medium size rooms.

Electrically charged ions produced by electrical plates in the air purifier catch impurities in the air. They attach themselves to impurities in the air, removing them, and releasing pure, clean air. Air purifiers effectively eliminate indoor impurities responsible for many airborne diseases by eliminating pollen, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, dust mite allergens and poisonous fumes from the indoor environment. Consequently, allergy and asthma sufferers as well as all family members, benefit greatly by acquiring a household air purifier. Air purifiers are vital to all health conscious people. They are particularly beneficial for children, pregnant women and infants by providing good air quality.

Air purifiers or air disinfectants are quiet machines because they are not operated by fans. However, some air purifiers do employ fans to give higher degrees of purification, thus making your living space noisy. Air purifiers consume less energy than a fifty-watt light bulb.

Air purifiers create no negative side effects. They emit no harmful chemicals or poisonous particles. Another advantage to owning an air purifier is that they create no humidity or temperature change in the areas in which they are used.

Air purifiers fit into any home decor because they come in metallic and ceramic designs and do not require much space for installation. They fit into small areas such as kitchens and bedrooms.

Another advantage to owning an air purifier is their low maintenance requirements. Dusting them during household cleaning routines is all that is needed. The heat emitted by an air purifier eliminates viruses, bacteria, mold spores, etc and are absolutely safe for everyday use.

Air purifiers, besides being highly beneficial for people suffering from allergies and breathing problems, are used widely in hospitals and nursing homes.
