About Asp.net Training

By: Anthony Kristovich III Home |

ASP.NET is marketed by Microsoft and it represents a set of technologies on the development of web applications. ASP.NET can be used by programmers in order to build web sites, applications and services. The ASP.NET aim is to simplify the transition from the development of a Windows application to that of a web page. Through ASP.NET, the developer has the ability to build a web page whose controls are similar to the user interface in Windows. Since some design-time errors are identified as early as the development stage, the applications run faster with ASP.NET. It also provides error handling, which is significantly improved by comparison to previous models. Performance is improved due to the fact that the whole page or parts of it can be cached. Applications can be built more rapidly due to the large set of controls. The layout of templates on a web page becomes easier with ASP.NET because, in the majority of editors, this layout can be done visually. Some metaphors which are similar to Windows applications and which could not be found but on the desktop, are now possible with ASP.NET.

In order to become a professional web developer you need certain skills which can be acquired through ASP.NET training. Web technologies such as .NET and HTML will be taught to you during an ASP.NET course. The web applications taught in a ASP.NET class are based on the development environment Microsoft .NET.

The ASP.NET course is made up of several modules and since it begins with the basics, one of these modules focuses on primary computing concepts. The ASP.NET course starts with the basics in computer technology and goes as far as the development of web applications. These include security issues, such as administrative or network security. The ASP. NET course also begins with discussion on database selection and functionality basics. however, a more detailed presentation is offered for data management and processing.

ASP.NET training will also teach you the development of web pages by means of HTML. The ASP.NET course will show you how to incorporate images and links on web pages and guide you through HTML tags and commands. The course also focuses on using graphics for web pages, and it emphasizes graphic software and animation. A thorough presentation of design concepts, such as layout, tables, color and background, should also be offered in an ASP.NET class.

The primary tasks of graphical user interface design are also taught in an ASP.NET class. Usability factors are described in this module, and some design principles, such as information filtering, consistency, conceptual model, are examined. The point of this section of ASP.NET training is the ability on the participants' part to make an effective interface design, while focusing on the principles of communication, organization and efficiency.

The ASP.NET training also focuses on teaching participants how to use some ASP.NET features, like server, validation and composite controls. Among other skills that an ASP.NET class will provide we can mention the deployment and maintenance of web applications, error handling, web services, legacy code, and so on.

The ASP.NET training program doesn't have any specific prerequisites. However, participants are assumed to have the basic computer and Internet skills.
