By: shawn parker Home | Health-and-Fitness | Beauty

If you want a treatment that will clear up your acne you are likely not alone as over 15 million American are suffering from acne as well. There are a few simple steps you can take today to help clear up your acne soon. To become acne free you will need to include facial cleansing, nutrition, exercise, vitamins and water as part of your Acne Free Clear Skin Treatment.

You can start out by getting into a routine of washing your face, using toner and applying lotion in the morning and at night. It may be helpful to figure out what type of skin you have. Your skin may be oily, dry or combination oily and dry in different areas. Sometimes you will find that certain products are better for different types of skin. Also you may want to use more toner and less lotion on oily skin and vice versa on dry skin. If you have combination skin and thus have some dry skin patches you can focus on those areas when you apply lotion. You may want to do a facial mask for 15-20 minutes once each week to target your acne. Exfoliating once a week is also beneficial as it will help remove dead skin. Part of proper skin care is getting into the routine using a Acne Free Clear Skin Treatment twice each day.

Getting adequate nutrition and staying hydrated are essential for having clear skin. To keep you system clean be sure to eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables and get plenty of fiber each day. You should stay hydrated to keep your body and skin clean. You can be sure you are getting enough water if you drink your body weight in ounces so for example if you weight 150 lbs. you would drink 150 ounces of water. Your skin will be much healthier if you get the adequate vitamins that your body and skin need.

Certain vitamins are particular good for reducing acne including: Vitamin B6, Zinc and Vitamin A. Some habits such as smoking, drinking alcohol and drinking coffee are known to be bad for clearing up acne. Sun is another toxin that your skin does not like. While sun may reduce acne for a short period of time it will also dry out your skin and thus make your acne worse. To protect yourself against sun damage liberally apply SPF 30 or above to your entire face, neck and ears. You may prefer to use an oil free sun block to keep you free of breakouts if you have more oily skin. One idea is to go in a sauna or hot tub once each week to help your skin release toxins. It has been said that saunas are good for acne as they help you to sweat which cleans out toxins in your pores.

In order to benefit from these steps and clear up your skin once and for all you should slowly work these habits into your daily life. Start by developing a face washing routine and getting products that work for you. Then when you feel comfortable you can start working on another step of your Acne Free Clear Skin Treatment.
