The lobster tails and the shrimps are considered to be a form of delicacy in terms of the food items in almost all parts of the world. Whole lobsters are rather difficult to get in the local super market and it is also a difficult item for the purpose of cooking. So it is best to get the shrimp and the lobster tails as the seafood items to add some jazz to your dinner.




There is more meat in the claws of the lobster and on its tail. No doubt that is one reason why lobster tails are loved all over the world. There are several dishes that can be cooked with the shrimp and the lobster tails in many different ways too. The shrimp and the lobster tails tend to get rotten and also decay very quickly. Thus it is also important to keep it in refrigeration before cooking. It is also important to defrost the shrimp and the lobster tails before the cooking proceeds. They need to be taken out from the freezer and kept in the normal temperature for a while. It can also be kept in a bowl of chilled water. The lobster tails and the shrimps are ready for the cooking once they are completely defrosted.




It depends on your taste entirely as to what you want to cook with the shrimp and the lobster tails. You can choose to grill them and enjoy the grilled lobster tails as a delicacy, if you want something simpler than that, then you can just boil it. The lobster tails and the shrimp can also be steamed and baked. Here are some recipes to help you cook the shrimp and the lobster tails.




The baked shrimp and the lobster tails are one of the most favourite items for the entire seafood lover across the world. To prepare the baked version of the lobster tails and shrimp, you would require lots of butter, lemon sauce, mayonnaise and an oven to cook. Heat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees centigrade. Slit the soft shell of the lobster tail so that the butter can enter the body and it becomes easier to cook the shrimp. Keep the lobster tails on the baking tray and spread some butter in ample amount on it. Bake it for the next 10 minutes. Once the baking is over, it can be served with some mayonnaise, butter and lemon sauce.




Similarly, the boiled lobster tails are easy to cook too, but are extremely tasty. Fill a saucepan with some water. For each litre of water, add one tea spoon of salt into it. Once the water starts to boil, put the shrimp or the lobster tails into the boiling water. Boil them till they turn into soft and tender meat. Once that is done, drain the rest of the water and serve the boiled lobster tails and the shrimp with some butter, mayonnaise and lemon slices.




These dishes are simple to cook, but can bring immense joy to all those who taste them.
