Adult Acne: Causes, Symptoms And Cure

By: Home |

Generally it is believed that acne is caused due to hormonal change and is a common occurrence when a person reaches puberty. But the occurrence of adult acne in people who never had acne during their teenage years challenges this theory.

Adult acne really proves frustrating to people who have always had clear blemish free skin for years. And they also have to deal with the painful, emotional and irritating symptoms of adult acne without psychological explanation that comes with teenage acne.

If you are suffering from adult acne then you have to understand that one thing very clearly that there must be some reason for this condition. Adult acne has internal causes that lead to this condition and they cannot vanish within days until and unless you do something about the root cause.

If you want to know about the actual picture of adult acne the difference between teenage acne and adult acne; and the way to eliminate them permanently just keeping reading this article.

The difference between adult acne and teen acne:

Though research has proved that there is a difference between the kin type of people who suffer from adult acne and those who suffer from teen acne, the actual internal cause of both types of acne is the same.

The question that comes next is why you are suffering from adult acne when you never had acne as a teen.

That is actually a good question and to get the right answer you have to realize what actually causes acne.

The main cause of adult acne or any type of acne at any level of severity is basically hormonal imbalance and the build up of toxins in the blood stream and the elimination organs like the kidneys, lymph, bowels and liver.

However severe the toxic build up might be, the hormonal imbalance is actually caused by two basic reasons :

1. The body starts producing too much male hormones that leads to over production of sebum through the sebum glands; this worsens the acne condition. This is what causes teen acne, and is not the cause of adult acne. Adult acne are usually caused by the second cause.

2. The natural hormonal regulation system is not working properly, i.e. the elimination organs that expel used hormones, mainly the bowels, lymph and liver.

Most acne cases are caused by the two basic causes of hormonal imbalance and due to toxic build up. Adult acne are caused by the second cause of hormonal imbalance i.e. incapability of the elimination organs in getting rid of used hormones.

But you might ask why you are suffering from acne now when you never suffered from it in your teenage years. It also means that surely your elimination organs were working perfectly during your adolescent years, this then also means that something surely went wrong with your hormone regulation system somewhere in between.

If you didn't have teen acne are suffering from adult acne now, that mean: a) Toxics must have built up in your blood and lymph system during the last few years. b) Your natural hormone system might have suffered some damage and is not working properly.

You must have been taking steroids that could have made your liver weak, or might have been taking antibiotics for long or you might have faced a lot of stress recently or any other reason. The end thing is that now you are suffering from chronic hormonal imbalance and added to it the toxic build up is the root cause of your adult acne.

The permanent way to cure adult acne:

The root causes of adult acne and various other types of acne in all their severity are internal, but along with it there are many other external causes that are no less relevant. The only way to cure adult acne is to holistically neutralize the external and internal factors. The holistic approach emphasizes on the internal root cause of adult acne.

This is the only way you can ensure an adult acne free skin.
