All About Construction Project Management Courses

To reach that goal, employers from different companies want to have individuals which are fully equipped with right knowledge and fitted for the job about construction. And to be fully equipped is to know what course they need to learn and master in order to achieve the company's objectives.

This includes all the subjects about business and organizations, lien law, construction cost control, progress payments and sub-contractor invoices, back charges, cash flow and cost of sales. To sum it all, it is all about accounting.

2. Financing Real Estate Acquisitions - the course that centers with mortgages, source of funds, nature of development projects, payment and construction loan processing, and administration for both portfolio and for the sale projects.

3. Estimation - from the title itself, this course offers a study about cost estimating with emphasis on quantity survey and pricing.

4. Plan Reading - this course is mainly about knowledge, a survey of the fundamentals of Construction Math and plan reading.

5. Field Project Management - this is the major course for with this course, you will study and learn how to become a successful construction project manager through learning the most basic principles and responsibilities of construction process. You will also learn important dealings such as to identifying and managing important components of project planning, budgeting and scheduling, resources allocation, legal requirements and ethical considerations, construction safety, and project supervision

6. Real Estate Law - specifically, Law of Construction, is a law that gives an outline of the legal system. It is usually about contractor's license law, contract laws, real estate law, mechanic liens, as well as basic contract principles and responsibilities.

7. Bidding and Scheduling - this is also an essential course for construction project management. This covers different bidding techniques that are used in the construction industry, methods of selling or buying out the construction project. In this course, you will learn to read, analyze and create your own bar chart and critical path method schedules. Other topics include managing time, money and resources within your schedule and use it to measure the effect of changes and delays on the project.

8. Construction Safety - covers topics about safety procedures, regulations and their application,
