Anal Itching Causes And Home Remedies For Treat Itching Anal

Anal itching is a common problem, but annoying. Anal itching is more common in men, and most of the time, no cause can be identified. Anal itching occurs around and near the anus, which is the opening to the intestine.

Anal Itching Causes

â€Perfume chemicals, or dye on toilet paper can cause an allergic reaction.

â€Moisture from sweat or diarrhea can cause itching. If the anal skin remains moist, the skin begins to decompose.

â€Some foods irritate the anus when they are expelled during defecation. The most common culprits are caffeine, chocolate, and beer, and nuts, dairy and spicy food.

â€Hemorrhoids, which reason sore swelling of blood vessels in the anal area, can origin itching.

Home Remedies for Treat Itching Anal

â€Apply Aloe Vera, cod liver oil, lemon juice, vitamin E oil, wheat germ oil, witch hazel or tea to the affected area.

â€Take burdock, chickweed, goldenseal, plantain, or cow in the form of capsules.

â€Cornstarch help alleviate itching. You can pour a little in the bath water or dust in your body.

â€Rub the affected area gently with a pumice stone. Then wash with soap, apply alcohol, and apply a thick layer of Vaseline on it.

â€Take a shower with a little mint or cow-itch.

â€Add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to bath water to relieve itching.

â€Sodium bicarbonate can be used in cold bath water to soothe other skin irritations and alleviate itching from prickly heat, bee stings, insect bites and other minor skin ailments.

â€Another trusted home remedy is to use a weak carbolic acid lotion or a solution of sodium bicarbonate (commonly known as baking soda) and its implementation on the part that stings.

â€Apply cold compresses to the affected areas, is believed to be a relief from itching.

â€Fresh nettle oil can be used in the affected areas.

â€Take 1 or 2 cups of nettle tea day is believed to help relieve itching. Add boiling water to 1 teaspoon of dried leaves per cup.

â€Apply Burdock root oil to help heal skin rashes and itching.

â€When the plants soften, cool and apply directly on skin.

â€Diet can play an important role in combating itching that result from food allergies. If you have identified the foods that cause itching, it is best to avoid them altogether.

â€Increase your intake of vitamin C, beta-carotene, vitamin E and zinc through the diet to have food rich in vitamins and minerals listed above.

Avoid rubbing or Scartching

â€Avoid scratching or rubbing the itchy areas as this worsens the problem. Keep nails short to avoid skin damage from scratching.

â€Use sleepwear, light and fresh. Do not wear thick, rough, like wool on the itchy areas.

â€Apply a soothing lotion on the skin after bathing.
