1.First thing to do is to make sure that you use compelling, enticing headlines. Remember, it's the titles that your readers will see first. If these are attention-grabbing or interesting enough, you'll most likely to get people to open and read your articles. 2.Deliver what you've promised on your titles. Don't disappoint your readers. You don't want that to happen, right?

3.Deliver great content. Spend all the time you need in writing your articles and ensure that they're simply perfect. Ensure that they're very informative, interesting to read, well-written, and unique. They must also contain a slice of your in-depth knowledge or information that can possibly bring positive impact to the professional or personal lives of your readers.

4.Create a compelling resource box. As this acts as gateway to your website, ensure that it's well-written and enticing. It must tell your readers who you are and the reason why they should visit your website. It will help if you offer freebies to increase your clickthrough rate.

5.Write for human beings. The most common problem with article marketers these days is that they stuff their articles with too many keywords with the hopes that they can their copies to show up on the top 10 search page results. Well, this is not something that will work to your advantage. You see, even if online users find your articles online, they will not give you the response that you're looking for if they did not find your articles worth reading.

6.Keep it short. You'll easily lose your readers if you make your articles run for more than 1,000 words. Always remind yourself that these people are pressed for time and that they have very limited attention span. So, tell them the information that they need to know using as few words as possible (around 300-500 words).

7.Properly optimize your articles. Learn SEO article writing techniques to make your articles search engine-friendly without sacrificing their quality. Insert popular keywords and keyphrases on your article body so they'll match searches being made by your prospects. It will also help if you use latent semantic indexing technique and if you build inbound links coming from other articles, websites, and blogs.

8.Make it scannable. Your readers will most likely to read your articles until the end if you make your content easy on the eyes. Instead of using few lengthy paragraphs, I recommend that you use bullet list and short paragraphs with headings. Through this, you can help your readers easily find the kind of information that they're looking for.
