Anxiety Symptoms - Understanding And Controlling Them

Anxiety symptoms are of a very wide range and can vary from mild to very severe. Anxiety symptoms can also set in multiples and need not be singular in nature. They can occur sporadically, intermittently or even persistently with a possibility of all combinations occurring at the same time.
Anxiety symptoms are associated with anxiety attacks, anxiety, panic attacks (akin to anxiety attacks), stress disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression and sleep disorders. The symptoms vary from person to person due to their unique chemical make up. Also, the symptoms will vary in type and intensity from person to person.
The most common of anxiety symptoms are related to bodily and emotional aspects of a person. In a normal afflicted person physiques, anxiety symptoms can be seen as Blanching (loss of color in the face or skin), increase or decrease in body temperature, choking, chronic fatigue, feeling dizzy, feeling of cold, heart palpitations, hyperactivity, nausea, shoulder pain or stiffness, feeling of leathery, muscular tension, general malaise and general feeling of weakness. All the above symptoms may not occur in a person. A group of them or a few of them may occur depending on the chemical structure of the body.
Many parts of the body develop different anxiety symptoms. For example, the chest may develop congestion and breathlessness, yawning, skipped heart beats, chest pain and irregular heart rhythm, also known as arrhythmia.
Anxiety symptoms are also observed in the emotional changes of the afflicted person. The person tends to unduly fear of what others think of him, he fears being in public. The person also develops fear of dying, fear of losing control; fear of passing out and also has a heighted self awareness and consciousness. The symptoms also result in a feeling of dizziness, frequent headaches, numbness and giddiness. Some impairment of senses is also observed in hearing and a sense of hallucination.
While anxiety symptoms are not only limited to the ones explained above, this article would be too short to explain all of them. These are the main anxiety symptoms and once a person feels these, it is necessary to consult a medical practitioner at the earliest. There is nothing to unduly worry. Anxiety attacks are quite common these days due to work place stress growing by the day.
