With so many anti wrinkle treatments available today, how does a person go about selecting the right one? Each product has its own unique ingredients, and they are not always effective. To look for the right ingredients, it is helpful to know some underlying causes, and learn how to counteract them in order to cure wrinkles. We've all heard it said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, but as the largest organ of the body, it is the skin that acts as the protective wall between our environment and our inner physiological workings. The skin is acting continually to absorb nutrients and eliminate toxins. Unfortunately, it can also absorb toxins, such as chlorine in water, for example. The skin is remarkable permeable and can be adversely impacted by many chemical substances, especially solvents. But, with the right ingredients, anti aging creams use this quality of our skin to a positive, healthful end. Proper blood flow in the microcapillaries of our skin is vital to maintaining a youthful complexion. As we age, our circulation decreases, causing a decrease in cellular energy and a breakdown of the two proteins most responsible for our skins health, collagen and elastin. Extra collagen production must be stimulated from within the body to be effective in fighting wrinkles. This is because the collagen molecule is too large to be absorbed into the skin layers from external application. Ingredients such as vitamin C and Cynergy TK are able to accomplish this function. Another recent discovery has shown that Nitric Oxide improves our blood circulation by dilating our capillaries. This helps our malnourished skin, as vital nutrients are once again delivered to the cells where they are needed. Since Nitric Oxide is a gas, it cannot be applied directly to the face. Fortunately, it can be produced on the surface of our skin through a naturally produced compound in our bodies called Dithiolane-3-Pentanoic Acid (D3PA). Speaking of free radicals. No one antioxidant can fight all free radicals. Each free radical has its own detoxifying antioxidant. For example, the singlet oxygen radical is quenched by beta-carotene, the peroxyl radical is quenched by Vitamin E, the hydroxy radical is quenched by glutathione, and the dangerous oxy radical can be quenched by Ubiquinone. Vitamin C fights free radicals, but it also stimulates collagen production in our bodies. In it's common form L-Absorbic Acid, it is typically taken orally, but if applied to skin directly, forms a dangerous free radical known as hydroxyl. To be effective as an ingredient in an anti wrinkle lotion, it must be in the form known as Ascorbyl Palmitate. CoQ10 is another well known antioxidant that, when taken orally is known to help the cardio vascular system. But, in the nano-emulsion form called Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10, it has the ability to penetrate deep into the skin layers down to 7 levels. CoQ10 fights the free radicals that damage our bodys cells. D3PA is also known as the universal antioxidant. What makes it so unique, or 'universal', is the fact that it actually boosts the levels of other antioxidants in our bodies, such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Gluthaione. This property of D3PA makes it a major tool in combating the broadest range of free radicals that attack our cells. Of all the antioxidants, D3PA is the most important one to help cure wrinkles. Many anti wrinkle skin care products contain ingredients that actually irritate the skin and cause further damage. Ingredients such as peppermint, menthol, camphor, and lemon to name a few. These are inflammatory in nature. Furthermore, many anti wrinkle treatments do not penetrate the outer layer of our skin. The better anti wrinkle products can penetrate 4 or 5 layers deep. There is at least one product on the market that can penetrate down to 20 layers, saturating the skin with all the needed ingredients to produce both immediate and long term anti wrinkle skin care.
