The word "psychology" is the combination of two terms - study (ology) and soul (psyche), or mind, so, Psychology is the science that studies the behavior of human being and living things involving systemic and mental functions. The famous quote by Sigmund Freud :-

Psychology degree programs can be a great way to start your career in psychology. But many peoples make the false belief that studying psychology is strictly limited to a person pursuing one type of profession but it isn't just being a psychologist or therapist. Clinical psychologists treat people who exhibit mental or emotional disorders which range from uncomfortable reactions to the stress of daily life to extreme psychological disorders.
