Every house should become a comfort zone for the people living in it. Sometimes details can make a great difference in making a empty house become a warm home for every member of the family. Sometimes it’s the color of the walls, the dimensions of the windows, the quality of natural light, the style of the furniture, the left space or the nature of the floor. Believe it or not, area rugs can make a huge difference in you room, providing comfort and relaxation to your home.

The wool rugs are often the choice of the whole family because of the softness of the fabric and feeling it give when walking on it. There is a variety of dimensions, colors and shapes for the rug, so you can adapt it for you space, in order to create that comfort zone you need.

The area rugs are adaptable. If there is a certain rug you like but the standard size doesn’t fit into your space or you need a bigger one, you can always order a custom rug, depending on the space you have left after you placed the furniture into your room. The choice depends on what furniture you have in the room, how often you move your armchair (if it’s a living room) or how easily you want to take it out to wash in case you spilled something on it.

Here are a few of main benefits of the wool rugs: the ability of wool to take and retain color, the fibers are very soft, the rug looks new for a long time; due to its natural barriers against dust and dirt, it’s easy to keep it clean; it’s fire resistant; the natural fiber in the composition purifies air quality by absorbing contaminants; it’s acoustically advantageous, due to its ability to absorb sound; it’s water repellant, thus spills are easier to clean up; it’s biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

Rugs can be finished by surging the edges of the area rug cut from roll goods by use yarn sewn around the edges in a close overcast stitch. Also, you can choose a loop pile, which is a carpet style with a pile surface made of uncut loops.

Just like any area rugs, the wool rugs can be made with bindings and borders or order without also for wall to wall use, which can be installed by direct glue-down or over a pad. Either way, you should consult a specialist before you install your wall-to-wall weave.
