Open a cook book and you would see directions and a step by step procedure on how to prepare a dish of your choice. Open your child's textbook, and you would see directions on how to go to the postal office, with a map of a town shown on the page at the opposite page. If you really take time to go through the documents that you read daily, you would realize that you see these process essays in day to day living. So, from that short description, what is a process essay? A process essay, simply defined, explains the steps that are required to be able to achieve and complete a specific task. It is a type of essay illustrates the processes and means by which a task, an event, or a goal is concluded and accomplished. Some even say that a process essay is, efficiently, a mix involving both the sequential type of essay and the descriptive type of essay. This is done by integrating the expressive and vivid details as one part of the process essay, and the in order arrangement as the other part, to be able to create a process description, making sure that the process essay comes out as both informative and comprehensive. To assess a process essay, the reader has to have an idea of what the topic is about. The process essay, as it involves caution warnings, should also cover parts of the essay that would concentrate on liabilities or possible errors that the user could possible encounter or come across, when following the procedures noted in the process essay. One way for the reader to know of this part of the essay could be in table form, illustrating the possible causes and solutions should these errors occur, and of course, a must, how these defects and flaws could be rectified. Should your process essay, on the other hand, concentrate on routes and tracks, or instructions on cooking specific dishes, measurements should be exact and accurate.
