Audio Conference Calls Benefits

Audio conference calls are telephone calls in which the calling party desires to have many called party listen in to the audio part of the call.

The conference calls may be designed to permit the called party to participate during the call, or the call may be set up so that the called simply listens into the call and cannot speak.

It is known to as an Audio Tele Conference. Meetings calls can be build so that the calling party calls the other members and including them to the call although, members are frequently capable to call into the conference call themselves, by calling into a unique telephone number that links to a conference bridge that is a specialized type of tools that links telephone lines.

Companies normally use a certain service supplier who maintains the conference bridge, or who gives the phone numbers and access codes that members dial to gain access to the conference or meeting call.

Conference calls have also started to cross over into the world of broadcasting and social networking, which in turn encourages new kinds of interaction ways.

Broadcasting of conference calls allows a larger audience access to the call without dialing in to a bridge. This is due to advancement of technology.
