Basic Rules Of Live Dealer Blackjack

By: Home | Recreation-and-Sports

The rules of Black Jack are not as hard as you may think. The object of the game is to beat the house. The ultimate goal is to get 21 from the cards that are dealt to you but that does not happen all that often , depending on how many players there are at the table. You want to score more points than the dealer. When you sit at low minimum table ( which is recommended for beginners ) you could be playing one on one with the dealer or there may be other players at the table. Your only focus at this point should be the dealer. Each player players for themselves, they are all playing against the dealer.

In order to play correctly, there will be a box or a circle on the table that will say bets, place your chip bets in the designated spot. If you did not get change at the cage the dealer will be more than happy to provide you with coins. The larger money chips go on the bottom of the pile and the smaller chips go on top. The value of the cards in Black Jack are as follows, the face cards 2 through10 are face value, the Jack, Queen and King are worth ten points and the Ace is worth 1 point or 11 points. You are looking to get a 21 without going over.

This could be given in any combination of cards. The dealer will deal you one card up and one card down. Keep the card down so the other players cannot see them. Then add the two cards together and see what the equal to , what you have in your hand will determine whether or not you are going to ask for another card. Remember the trick is to not go over 21. If you have an Ace and a 7 you could use this hand two ways, you could use it is an 8 and ask for more cards or you can use these cards as an 18 and hold. You want to hold on a 17 and higher because the chances of getting 4 or lower are not in your favor. Anything lower than a 16 you can ask for another card and hope for the best.

Sometimes dealers will use more than one deck so you can never be too sure what they are going to pull out. Black Jack is a game of strategy because you have to decide if you are going to ask for more cards than you have or are you going to stay at what you have. You cannot win every hand but to win a few is great achievement. You will also want to practice at home , simply get a deck of cards and practice playing alone or have a friend be the dealer. It will help you prepare for the casino.
