The technique of digital printing initiates from creating image into the computers. The process is quite simpler when compared to the previous techniques of printing. The process is more or less fast, hassle-free and free from all critical mechanical processes. Broadly, digital printing can be classified into two categories. The means of printing are differential involving direct and variable imaging. The means of printing are different in each of the cases. While electronic files are used to create plates or films in direct imaging, variable imaging uses the digital press or printer and inkjet printer for the purpose of printing.

Ever since the introduction of digital printing, it has gained mounting fame and fortune all around the earth. There are several reasons why it has become so popular. First, the ease of the technique of printing, using minimum intermediaries creates the first reason for its unparalleled success all over the globe. Then, digital printing can be extremely profitable for its rapid turn around. That is why, it becomes satisfactorily cost effective and at the same time represents the finest quality printing of high definition images.

You do not have to look for separate filmmaking when you are opting for a digital printing. The printing types are also various and can be used for different purposes. For example, brochures, ad slicks, video boxes, multi page documents, in addition will sell sheets can be shaped and printed by using the digital printing techniques. Thus, as far as the traditional concept of printing is concerned, digital printing is more advanced and cost effective, making it a readily viable option.
