The film co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Joey King, Bridget Moynahan , Aaron Eckhart, Jim Parrack, Lucas Till, Michael Pea, Taylor Handley, Cory Hardrict, Ramon Rodriguez, and is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.Watch two seconds from â€Battle: Los Angelesâ€. Yup, I have no idea why they only showed 2 seconds from the movie at Comic Con, but apparently that’s all there was. Check out all two whopping seconds out the movie below. Looks like a battle over the Cali beach from the view inside a helicopter or aircraft, most likely part of the scene from the pic above. The first teaser trailer, and even the International trailer for â€Battle: Los Angeles†gave us a lot of great visuals and some insane alien action, but this new theatrical trailer for the Jonathan Liebesman-directed big-budget Hollywood alien invasion flick finally fills us in (well, a little, anyway) on who any of these people are that are fighting the aliens. Plus â€" alien foot soldiers coming out of the oceans firing into the civilian population! New International poster for Aaron Eckhart’s â€Battle: Los Angelesâ€, known overseas as â€World Invasion: Battle L.A.†It could have been much better, or at least a little bit more exciting, but eh, better than nothing. If you’re a sci-fi fan, and you’ve seen the trailer for Jonathan Liebesman’s â€Battle: Los Angelesâ€, how can you not be excited? I know I am. Here’s a new image from the movie featuring Michelle Rodriguez. There’s a lot to like about Super Bowl XLV. For one, well, it’s the friggin Super Bowl. The only people who don’t like the Super Bowl are commies and terrorists. You’re not a commie or terrorist, are you? Okay, then. But being a movie sci-fi fan is also a pretty good reason to watch the big game, as it features quite a number of great 30-second spots for some juicy upcoming sci-fi movies, including J.J. Abrams’ super secret â€Super 8?, new spots for â€Battle: Los Angelesâ€, â€The Adjustment Bureauâ€, â€Cowboys and Aliensâ€, and your best, most revealing look at â€Transformers: Dark of the Moon†yet. I didn’t really hear much about Battle: Los Angeles and admittedly tried to avoid it after hearing that the special effects team that did Skyline worked on the movie, but the trailers look pretty awesome. Throw in a soundtrack by Stephen Hawking and we’re all set for what looks to be the first promising Guy Movie of 2011. Let me just say I love this trailer on its own. The music and editing are so immersing. They did a fantastic job of pulling the viewer directly into the "Battle" of the scifi directed by Jonathan Liebesman. Liebesman also directed Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and Darkness Falls. The music heard in the trailer was created by Johann Johannsson and the song is called "The Sun's Gone Dim and the Sky's Black" and it is a perfect companion to the visuals on screen. The trailer does show some of the battle, however we only get a few very brief (and blurred) peeks at the aliens invading. Either way, I'm sold and ready to go with this trailer. "Battle: Los Angeles" releases March 11th, 2011.
