Bayer Pharmaceuticals Knew Trayslol Was Not Safe, File A Trasylol Claim Now

By: Paul Justice Home | Legal

Patients from all over the United States who have been administered Trasylol are beginning to file claims against the industry giant Bayer Pharmaceutical. Trasylol is a drug known as Aprotinin that is administered to patients when they undergo surgery where there is a likelihood that they may be a good amount of blood loss. Many of the patients that were given this drug did not even know they were given it because it had become such a common drug in the operating room.

The thousands of doctors who used this drug on patients during surgery had no idea that the patients as a result were almost twice as likely to suffer kidney failure, renal failure and even death. Anyone who received a fatal dose of Trasylol during their procedure is urged to file a Trayslol claim against Bayer Pharmaceuticals. It is so important to file a Trayslol claim now if you or a loved one was injured or passed away as a result of Bayer Pharmaceuticals carelessness. In 2005 it was found in clinical studies done by Bayer Pharmaceuticals that the drug did much more damage than previously thought. It wasn’t until September of 2006, more than a year later, that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was notified that the makers of Trayslol were thinking about changing the warning label on the drug because of their findings. This means that the makers of Trayslol allowed this drug to become routine in surgeries knowing very well that it was dangerous and life threatening.

A few weeks later the FDA released a statement that they had been performing a safety review of the drug after two research studies reported that after being administered Trayslol patients had an increased chance of kidney failure, renal failure, heart attack, and stroke. It was also found that many patients that received the drug were more likely to undergo kidney malfunction that would later result in having them undergo kidney dialysis for the rest of their lives.

It took almost two full years for Bayer Pharmaceuticals to take the drug off the market. During those two years when they were hiding their findings, and keeping their little discovery under wraps thousands of people died as a result of the drug and thousands of others who didn’t die had so much damage done to their bodies that they will be in and out of hospitals for the rest of their lives. Bayer Pharmaceutical deliberately withheld information about the drug that could have been used to save thousands of lives.

Filing a Trayslol claim can compensate you for your loss and suffering, make Bayer Pharmaceutical pay for their mistakes. There has been speculation that the FDA may not even have found out about this toxic drug if Bayer Pharmaceuticals wasn’t forced to disclose its findings in court. Although we all know the truth about why Bayer didn’t disclose this shocking information, their explanation as to why it was okay for them to allow thousands of patients to die was because they considered their preliminary findings to be worthless because of the methodology they used during their personal trials.
