Tooth whitening : Bleaching is one of the most common procedures of dental cosmetics. Bleaching whiten teeth that are discolored, stained, or have been darkened because of injury or drinking habits ,Pan Masala, Smoking, root canal treatment (RCT), can receive bleaching treatment. The degree of whiteness will vary from patient to patient, depending on the structure of the tooth. First rubber shield is used to cover gums than bleaching gel is applied all over the teeth and a bright laser light is pointed towards the teeth. The active ingredient has been safely used for many years in the treatment of teeth whitening. (2) Home Bleaching- (Takes 2 weeks) When you start to bleach we advise you to bleach your upper teeth first when you are bleaching both upper & lower teeth. Bleaching usually takes 1-2weeks for the complete result. We cannot predict the exact level of shade changes you will have with bleaching, but it will always make your teeth whiter. The reason by which people refrain from giving a wide smile is carious teeth, chipped teeth and broken teeth. In this procedure the tooth surface is covered by tooth-colored composite filling material by this the defects cannot be seen at all. When teeth get stained by flouorosis, ceramic or composite veneers can be used to cover the areas.
