The Ranthambore National Park is one of the few national parks in India that is globally famous for its tigers and a variety of other wildlife creators. Featuring exotic flora, its landscape is equally exciting and has a unique attraction of its own. There are several artificial lakes in the park, which act as the promising sites for wildlife photographers. For many years, this national park has been best known as the rich and unique flora and fauna, but today it has numerous other attractions as well. There are many interesting sites and nearby spots that are worth to explore. Today if you are a wildlife enthusiast or even a nature lover, a visit to the Ranthambore National Park is definitely a delight treat, but apart from its rich wildlife there are other attractions as well that you must explore such as: Bakula †It is one of the densely forested regions located near to the Ranthambore national park and consists of numerous small pools and water holes. Moreover, Bakula is one of coolest regions of this national park, and here you can also enjoy viewing some of the best bird sights along with small animals like squirrels and monkeys scampering through the forest. Ranthambore Fort †Standing at the top of the hill, it is one of the remarkable and oldest forts in the region near the Ranthambore Park. The major highlight of visiting this fort is that the most exotic views that you would love capturing in your camera. In fact, it is highly recommended to carry a good pair of binoculars, if you planning to visit this fort. The views of the surrounding keeps getting better and better as you move up. There are many temples within the Ranthambore fort, including a temple to Lord Ganesh and a temple to Lord Hanuman, where you may also see several langurs and monkeys. Kachida Valley †Situated on the outskirts of the park, Kachida valley features diverse rocky outcrops and low hills. Exploring this valley provides you opportunity to spot panthers roaming in the valley. Generally, panthers can be easily seen in this valley because many of them usually keep away risking their life without entering into the main jungle and try to avoid conflicts with tigers. Adding to this, other animals that you can be seen in this valley are deer and wild boar along with sloth bears. Rajbagh Talao †This is the largest of the three lakes present in the Ranthambore Park and known for the beautiful Jogi Mahal that is situated at the very close distance of this lake. Being partially covered with marshy plants, here you can enjoy viewing sambar or swamp deer moving and feeding their young ones. Perhaps, during the early morning and sunset hours the sight scene can be absolutely incredible as animals such as Chital, Nilgai and Blackbuck are seen in large numbers around the lake side. Raj Bagh Ruins â€For those who have always wanted to have real and close view of tigers, visiting the nearby ruined ancient Rag Bagh structure can always be best option. Situated very near to the Raj Bagh Talao and Padam Talao, these ruins offer the much needed relief to animals of this park in hot weather. In fact, these ruins are now a special resting place for tigers and other wildlife creators. The abundance in natural vistas, wild animals and other numerous attractions has always been appreciated and pulled national and international tourists’ attention. Definitely, with so much varied attractions and things to explore, you better not ignore the visit to the Ranthambore national park.
