Having my Dish Network DVR is great! My favorite summer reality show â€Big Brother†airs 3 times a week on CBS on Dish Network, and I can never seem to get a handle on which time it comes on each night. On some nights it’s on at 8, and other nights it’s on at 9, so luckily I don’t have to worry about remembering †my DVR does it for me! With my DVR, I never have to rush through whatever I’m doing to check the TVâ€it just starts recording and I watch it when I’m ready. How’s that for convenience? VCRs seem like such a prehistoric technology now, don’t they?Anyway, we’re down another episode of â€Big Brother,†and we’re thisclose to being rid of Ronnie once and or all! In last night’s episode, there weren’t really many fights or blow-ups, and Jeff and Jordan were nearly invisible, but I don’t care †we are on the road to a Ronnie free house! It’s pretty much a given that Ronnie is going home on Thursday night. Russell nominated him and Lydia for eviction, but Russ has been 100% clear that his intention is to have Ronnie walk out the door. Jeff and Jordan will definitely vote for Ronnie to leave, as will Kevin (he would never vote against his BFF Lydia), and although Ronnie thinks Michele is the swing vote, there’s no doubt in my mind that Michele will vote for Ronnie to leave as well. Four votes is all we need to send him packing. Michele, although originally a member of Ronnie’s team, has made it very clear that she is not suckered by Ronnie’s lies. Ever since the truth was revealed about his ratty ways, Ronnie has made attempts to play on Michele’s sympathy, but we can all tell, this girl just ain’t buyin’ it. She’s not that stupid. Which is why it was even more pathetic to watch Ronnie basically beg for his life last night when he told Michele if she sent him home then she would anger Jessie and Natalie and she would definitely be going out the door next. Michele heard him out, and she nodded, but you knew in her head she was thinking â€Nice try, loser. Tell Julie I said hello!†Plus Michele and Russell seem to have struck up a new friendship since he won HOH, and Russ even went so far as to ask her if she wants to form an alliance with him. Probably a smart move for them, since they are both basically alone in the house. Voting to keep Ronnie in the house would only destroy the one good chance Michele has at an alliance. Chima, Jessie, and Natalie all want Lydia gone and for good reason †Ronnie is part of their alliance. They all campaigned to Russell to change his mind and rallied to keep Ronnie, but he wasn’t having it. He stood his ground on wanting Ronnie OUT, and told them so several times. If Jessie, Natalie, and Chima were smart, they’d vote Ronnie out as well to show their allegiance to Russell. There’s nothing they can do to save him now, because their three votes won’t be enough to keep him around, so they might as well unite and vote with the rest of the house. If not, it’s only going to put a target on their backs and split the house even more. The game has changed, guys, time to stop fighting for your buddy Ronnie and come up with some new game plans. My respect of Russell as a game player continues to grow and he impresses me more and more each episode. Michele is also slowly coming out her shell and starting to play this game. She won the Power of Veto for the second week in a row (last week she used it to save herself), and smartly she did not use it on either Ronnie or Lydia (though they certainly edited it to make it look like she was going to †â€I’ve decided to use the Power of Veto oooonnnnn †no one!â€) On Thursday night we will find out who wins the Coup D’Etat (America would never vote for Ronnie to have it - would they?) and hopefully then bid adieu Ronnie the Rat. It’s been not so nice knowing you, Ronnie. Your delusional â€mastermind gameplay†will not be missed. By: Frank Bilotta
