BMX Trax is a free online BMX game, which made its appearance in the web in 2007. In BMX Trax, there are 6 levels that you have to complete. In each level, you will find an exit that must be unlocked with a key. The key is gold in color and can be found in the level. To obtain the key, you must ride your bike over it. Once you obtained the key, you can ride your bike to the exit and proceed to the next level. Before the game starts, you will see a virtual map of the levels which you will be playing. To move the bike forward, you should press the up arrow key. Pressing the left arrow key will cause the bike to lean left while pressing the right arrow key will make the bike lean right. To make the bike move in backward direction, you can press the down arrow. If you want to flip the bike to a different direction, you can press the spacebar. The goal of the player is to reach the exit before he breaks his neck. When you want to jump over an obstacle, you can press the action key. If you want to exit a level, you can press the ESC key. Unlike other BMX games, the rider seems to be easily lean to the right or left when you press the right or left arrow key. You have to maintain the balance the bike as you progress in the level. For example, if the bike is slanted towards to the left, you must quickly press on the right arrow so that the bike will become level. If the bike is leaning to the right, you should press on the left arrow key. By maintaining the balance of the bike, the rider won't fall down. When you are riding the bike up a hill, you have to take extra precaution and maintain the balance of the bike so that you won't fall down. Throughout the level, you will see sign boards which give you hints on how to play the game. It is recommended that you read the hint before proceeding forward so that you will be aware of the obstacles that is ahead of you. There bonuses which you can collect to increase your score. The bonuses are located in the midair. To collect the bonus, you must jump high into the sky. If you are unable to move in the ramp, you can press the shift key to free yourself. This online BMX game features a number of halfpipes. To pass the halfpipe, you must ride the bike in fast speed. If you are unable to get pass the halfpipe, you can press the shift and up arrow keys to increase the speed of the bike. While you are in the air, you can press the spacebar to help you to have a soft landing. The key to ride up a halfpipe is to ride the bike at a fast speed from a distance. If you are too near to the halfpipe, you will find that it is difficult to travel up.
