Diwali is gone, but the buzz is yet to get over. Yes, with festive season yet to get over, Bollywood will be bringing some cool comedy movies to tickle the funny bones of their audience. Yes, Diwali saw the release of 'Golmaal Returns' while in upcoming week, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal starrer EMI hits the nearest multiplexes. The film also stages the return of Urmila Matondkar and Sanjay Dutt together as the lead pair who in past have got several hits to their names. If that was about the EMI, then wait there is more for the lovers of comedy movies. Yes, the king of comedy genre movies will be returning to silver screen once again later in the year with his 70mm outing in form of 'Billoo Barber.'

Based on the old legend surrounding the friendship of Lord Krishna and Sudama, the audience will get to see a unusual but surely a blatant pair of Shahrukh khan and Irrfan Khan (of 'Metro' fame) reprising the roles of Lord Krishna and Sudama in the modern age. The film also has Lara dutta playing the role of Irrfan's wife. Besides all these names, there is Horn Ok Pleasss, Khalbali, Chal Chala chal, which has Govinda, Rajpal Yadav in lead, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! which stars Abhay Deol and Paresh Rawal and Dil Kabaddi also lined up for the rest of season.

Moving on to the Drama movies, then the deadly duo of Shahrukh khan and Aditya Chopra will be setting the screen on fire with their upcoming offering 'Rab ne bana di jodi'. The film marks the return of Aditya Chopra after a hiatus of nine years to the mainstream commercial cinema with 'Mohabbatein' being his last outing. The duo which precisely 12 years ago along with Kajol rocked the box office with DDLJ is expected to repeat the same historic success once again. The film also sees Anushka Sharma as the leading lady of the film.

The other most awaited release of the season is Aamir Khan starrer 'Ghajini'. Touted as one of the biggest release of the year 2008, 'Ghajini' is an adaption of Hollywood film 'Memento'. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, who also directed the Tamil version of the film, it sees Aamir Khan who in the film suffers from peculiar disease which sees his memory lasting for only fifteen minutes, fights against all odds to avenge the death of his love played by Asin. Set to hit the theatres on December 25, 2008, 'Ghajini' storyline is already inciting people to go for it. With A. R. Rehman's music, 'Ghajini' is surely going to be a killer of all sorts.

Other upcoming bollywood movies lined up for the season are Alibaug ( a Sanjay Gupta venture), Har Pal (Preity Zinta, Shiney Ahuja) directed by nine time national award winner Jahnu Barua, Paathshala and the list goes on and on.
