Breast Cancer Risks †A Quick Overview

Cancer has become one of the most common diseases of the 21st century. When tumours that the up in the breast, it is the sign that cancer has stepped in. The most common cancer in women is said to be breast cancer.
Since there are not many symptoms that can help in detecting cancer, it is almost always too late when women are diagnosed with cancer. If the Breast Cancer Diagnosis is done at an early stage, it is very easy for the cancer to be treated. But in order to be treated, the symptoms of cancer should be identified. Here below are the symptoms for cancer.
1.The breast starts changing and shape or in size.
2.The skin of on the best becomes rigid.
3.There is a lump under the arm or in the breast.
4.The skin of the breast becomes scaly.
You have to seek medical advice if you have any of the above mentioned symptoms. These symptoms do not confirm that you have cancer but only put you on possible breast cancer risk. But, it is always good to have it checked. If you are below 20 years of age, the chances of your getting cancer are a very rare. On the other hand, if you are above the age of 25, your risk of breast cancer becomes high. When the in between the ages of 25 and above are at the highest risk of contacting cancer.
The reasons as to how cancers are formed are not known. But there are few reasons that are thought to be the ones for the increase in cancer cases these days.
Women are more likely to contract cancer than men. If you are overweight, it is another factor for breast cancer risk being high. Women who do not have children and women who have had children after the age of 30 are the other high risk groups of people to get cancer. Cancer is also hereditary, therefore if there has been an affected a member in a woman’s family, the chances of her having cancer is very high. Women are not the only gender to be affected by cancer. Men are also at risk. It is not as common as it is with women, but it does happen. Men the between the ages of 60 and 70 are the ones who are usually diagnosed with cancer. Men, who have had exposure to radiation, are at the greatest of risks. Men who have had cancer before are at the risk of getting breast cancer. The symptoms of male Breast Cancer are the same as women.
Every year more than 182,000 women and are more than 16,000 men are diagnosed with cancer of the breast. Out of which, 400 men and more than 43,300 women die of breast cancer.
