Brochure Design Guide For Targeting Female Markets

By: Leah Delaney Home | Business | Advertising

The female market is a very picky kind of consumer market. They are the great judges and bargain hunters after all for most products. That is why when it comes to brochure printing, there are specific design elements that you will need to use to effectively convince them of your brochure marketing message. And don’t think that your brochure samples are enough to teach you this. You will need some precise moves and not vague examples to target females with precision for marketing.

So let me get you started on female marketing using color brochures. You will find five tips in brochure printing and design below. These are the moves that you will want to make to make sure that your custom brochures will work particularly well with those female markets.

1. Begin with an important issue of concern †In truth, this can apply to most markets, but it is particularly important for the female market. You should always begin your color brochures with an important issue of concern. If you have seen brochures for weight loss, you should already know what I am talking about.

By choosing an important issue that concerns your female markets and then beginning with it in your headline or cover image, you can immediately hook the readers that you want. Female markets are particularly interested in brochure topics which can help them with concerns and this can be your gateway to gaining their attention easily. So figure out the main issue that is related to both your products and your female market. This should be your lead for a better more targeted brochure.

2. Connect with the reader †Remember that female markets are concerned with connections and relationships. So instead of just stating the different specifications and features about your product or service in your marketing message, you should try o illicit more of a personal connection with them. Do this by telling a personal story or even showing a true testimonial about the product or service. Give them the human side of the story and connect to them emotionally. The more you gain that trust and connection, the more powerful your marketing brochures should be to that female market.

3. Give something beneficial †It is also important to give something back to your readers. By giving something beneficial such as a tip or a tutorial, you can convince your female markets to keep your color brochures for reference. This allows your brochures to market to even more possible readers as they are kept by the principle one. So try and add something beneficial to your brochure marketing content when possible.

4. Pay attention to detail †Female markets are very particular with the design detail of brochures. Every design element from the fonts, the dividers, the borders, the colors etc. etc. must be coherent and well integrated into your main theme. Otherwise, if there are flaws in your design, they will be glaringly obvious to female markets. If there is something really bad, they will notice and this will be a minus point for your brochures.

5. Use high quality materials †Finally, female markets are very judge-mental with the material of your color brochures. Choose cheap paper and inks and they will treat your marketing message as cheap as well. So make sure you use high quality paper and inks for your brochure printing. The better the quality, the more trust you will get from those female markets.

Now you know your way around marketing towards the female market with your own custom brochures. Believe me, all these tips work well in conjunction with one another so try to do them all to get the best results.
