Bum Marketing Techniques - Compelling Secrets To Boost Your Clickthrough Rate

By: Gen Wright Home | Business | Marketing

Are you struggling in improving your clickthrough rate? Then, here are some compelling secrets for you:

1.Pick interesting topics. Don't write just any topic. For you to become successful in this field, you need to write about something that will capture the attention of your target audience. You need to explore topics that these people will find useful or important in their lives or in their careers. The best topics are always the problems and burning questions of your target audience. They would also want to read about their areas of interest and they would love to get tips and techniques on how to remedy their pressing issues or how they can do certain things the faster, easier, and cheaper way.

2.Always use catchy titles. Take all the time that you need when writing the titles for each of your articles. You need to do this right. Remember, your open rate will depend on the effectiveness of your headlines. Tell your readers what you can offer them and give them one good reason to open and read your copies. Make your headlines not only benefit-driven and descriptive but intriguing as well.

3.Optimize your articles. It's not enough that you have compelling titles and interesting topics. It's also important to make sure that your articles are easy to find in the online arena. Make them appear on relevant searches by properly optimizing them. Use the most popular keywords and sprinkle them all throughout your copy. Place them on the first and last 90 characters, on your title, and once on each of your paragraphs. Ensure that their keyword density is 2% or below. Anything more than that can be considered keyword spamming/keyword abuse.

4.Impress your readers. You need to make sure that these people will read your articles until the end and later on, click through your resource box. Keep them interested by making your articles engaging and by making each of your paragraphs worth reading. Offer compelling and useful information. This is not only to help your readers but also to prove your in-depth knowledge in your niche. Through this, you'll have better chances of getting your readers to like and trust you.

5.Write simply. Don't even try to make your articles sound very complicated. If you think that your readers will be impressed if you make use of big words and lengthy paragraphs, you're mistaken. These people will close your articles in a heartbeat the very moment they encounter difficulty getting the message that you're trying to get across. What I suggest is that you write your articles as if you're personally talking to them. Use simple terms and keep your sentences and your paragraphs short.

6.Get your readers to clickthrough your resource box. Improve your clickthrough rate by making your resource box sound very enticing. Tell your readers who you are, what you do, what you're good at, and how you can help them out. Give them the link of your website or squeeze page. Then, ask them to click this link in exchange of freebies. They'll be happy to pay you a visit if they'll get short ebooks or special newsletters for free.
