Cancer Cured: What You Don't Know Could Kill You

By: Jeremy Dean Home | Health-and-Fitness

Is there such a thing as a bona fide cancer cure. Most people trained in cancer research and treatment would definitively and convincingly answer that question with a deafening "no!"

Are they correct or just repeating the same lines that have been widely disseminated in the recognized and respected media aor medical journals. Based on the available results and the consistently high rates of death due to all types of cancer they could hardly be wrong. It would stand to reason that if a true cancer cure, whether mainstream or alternative, had been found the currently high rate of death due to cancer would have gone down significantly.

What if researchers had found a seriously viable treatment protocol that was shown to be very effective at treating cancer if not outright leading to a cancer cure? What if that treatment protocol was so simple and straightforward that anybody could implement it? What if based on the ease of implementation, low cost and therefore the lack of profit to be made, would mainstream science and pharmaceutical companies be inclined to promote its widespread adoption and to aggressively market its use to frontline physicians.

Unfortunately, it seems as if the cure for cancer has evolved into a cancer cure that can be marketing and sold at a tremendous profit to the end user, which in this case is the cancer victim or their insurance carrier if they are fortunate enough to have health insurance.

Is it hard to fathom that after the huge sums of money invested in cancer research we don't appear to be any closer to a true magical cancer cure. Could it be that we may have the cure for cancer sitting under our collective noses but those companies with the resources to advance and promote it have no financial incentive to do so?

We have made great strides in finding new and novel ways to attack cancerous cells. But the question to be asked is "has a cancer cure been found?" The answer to that question could be a resounding "yes!" But in the absence of a gold standard clinical study or study paid for by an entity with sufficient monetary resources to do so, we may continue to be treated by the same old staples of chemo, radiation and surgery.

Are there promising treatments that have been FDA approved and in development? Sure! The only problem is that with the sky rocketing cost of healthcare how many of us will actually be able to benefit from these new therapies without having to fall into bankruptcy or significant debt. All the time hoping against hope that the new cutting edge treatment protocols would spare our life.

There just might be a tried and true cancer cure that could work for the majority of us. The real key question being, can we ferret out what cancer researchers already discovered but have no monetary justification to share with us or the larger front line medical community. As always, we just don't know what we don't know and as it relates to cancer that ignorance could be fatal!

About the Author:
My mother died from cancer when I was 16. During a medical exam, my doctor saw something suspicious on my X-ray and since I was a smoker, and therefore at an increased risk for cancer, sent me for a CAT scan. Knowing that I could have cancer forced me to find a legitimate alternative cancer treatment. I have since written a book to share this information.
