Game Designing is the art of creating layouts and attributes of a video game, dealing with the thorough yet critical aspects such as characters, levels, scoring, plot, and other graphic and animated parts.

The person responsible for these job is called a game designer. To be a game designer, one has to be imaginative and artistic, with heavy coding and programming skills. It is also most advisable that a graphic designer is able to work well in a team and hone time management skills, because video game designers can gain more in an organisation.

Occupations for game designing are one or among the following: 3D character animation, modeler, digital artist, broadcast graphics design, story boarder, game researcher and planner, producer, FX artist, etc.

Game designing is a very combative yet a financially paying occupation. Because of the radical popularity of video games from children to adults, the need for fresher and more virtual games have stepped up the video game designers value in the market today.
