Caterer Serves Home-style Comfort Food

By: Gen Wright Home | Food-and-Drink

The Minneapolis catering market has many contenders. If I had to hire one, the company in this article is my first choice. The Tasting my wife and I attended was the reason I would choose them.

"Home-style Comfort Food That's Full of Flavor & Served With Love"

I didn't pen these words, but they are perfect in describing our experience. This is their unique selling proposition. This splendid feast was a present for us, as it took place on October 24, 2009, our 11th wedding anniversary.

From start to finish, they lived up to these words. The owners' passion for home-style comfort food showed through in every bite. They are phenomenal cooks and human beings, so their success was no surprise.

There were two basic menus offered. The first was baked salmon with a delicious, bold bourbon glaze, perfectly seasoned rice, and crunchy winter carrots.

The second menu barbeque items, my favorite! For the main dish: Tender, yummy pulled pork with a choice of 2 barbeque sauces, one bold & spicy, the other a sweeter alternative, but just as delightful.

There was pork and beans with polish sausage slices in the mix. The sausage instead of hot dogs was a refreshing taste twist. Capping it off was a sweet and tangy potato salad. The grand finale: a down-home Southern pound cake with a sweet sauce and raspberries. Can you get any more home-style than this?

If that was not enough, and continuing with the wedding theme, there was a moist wedding cake that had the most balanced sweetness of any I've ever tasted.

Their relaxing atmosphere, with some choice cuts (no pun intended) of smooth jazz playing in the background, greatly enhanced the delicious food they served.

They also joined forces in a cross promotion effort with a wedding planner business, a very smart move. The wedding planners were very professional and delightful ladies.

They provided a very elegant, restful atmosphere, from the setting and from their personable approach. The moment you walk-in, you immediately feel comfortable, which lent itself perfectly to the "comfort" food menu.

Including the owners, we knew only a few people there out of 50 people. There were well-dressed people there, as well as those dressed very casually. We were all just as content as if we were old friends. It would not be a stretch to say that the chefs and the hostesses of the event had everything to do with this.

For those searching for a Minneapolis caterer, this one provided home-style comfort food that was definitely 'flavorful' beyond our expectations, in a family-like atmosphere that I think even a Harley rider would have enjoyed.

If you are planning a wedding or any event, I am convinced that they will bring life to your event with great food in a comfortable atmosphere, all at an affordable price.
