Fibromyalgia is a common illness occurs due to chronic condition of widespread pain and tiredness. It mostly affects on person’s mental, physical, or even social activity, and takes on a crucial role. Fibromyalgia is a very devastating disease that attacks irrespective of age. The chronic pain from fibromyalgia and tiredness associated with this disease causes a sufferer anxiety, loss of functional ability or even functional illness. The hallmark symptoms of fibromyalgia are tiredness, muscular aches and pain, stiffness of joints and lack of sleep disorders.

Fibromyalgia can be categorized with hyperalgesia pain, allodynia pain, and painful paresthesia. Hyperalgesia is identified with excess pain, a serious joint pain, muscles, kidney pain and sweating. Allodynia pain from stimuli which are not normally painful. The pain occurs in other than the stimulated area. Paresthesia pain can attack nerves causing numbness, instead of pain commonly associated with shingles. Shingles is a skin rash caused akin to the same virus that causes chickenpox.

In the most common types of fibromyalgia, proving the exact cause is very difficult, even by experts. Physical injuries, emotional upsets or viral infections may trigger this disease disorder. Most common causes of fibromyalgia are chronic sleep disturbance, brain chemicals and hormonal abnormalities. Chronic sleep disturbance: disturbed sleep appears to trigger factors in the immune system that causes inflammation, pain, tiredness. Sleep disorder that causes breathing problems mostly occurs in women with fibromyalgia. Brain chemicals: this has no clear causes with any effects established yet, but pain and stress of fibromyalgia directly affect the immune system which lead to changing in brain circuitry, rather than brain disorder itself. Hormonal abnormalities: hormone system is known as hypothalamus pituitary adrenal gland axis it stands for HAP. The HAP axis controls the important functions including sleep, stress response and anxiety disorder as well.

Another signs and symptom of fibromyalgia is related to pain in muscles, ligaments and tendons. This pain occurs in body and it directly focuses on specific tender points and joints. These all symptoms vary from person to person, and can come and go away, it depend on their season. Tiredness and lack of energy is the main fibromyalgia symptoms. Most of the patients were suffering from fatigue because of their lack of energy level in routine activities. Other symptoms of fibromyalgia may include tingling in the hands and feet and anxiety.

Most effective way to treat fibromyalgia includes medications and taking care of self at home. treatments for fibromyalgia is only effectual if those affected rectify their symptoms. Certain medications like antidepressants, anti seizure drugs, and aspirin can help to reduce fibromyalgia disease. Fibromyalgia treatments are effective if medications are taken as per the symptoms. Although, there is no cure for fibromyalgia, home treatment can relieve at least some of the symptoms of the disease. The most important therapy for muscle pain is regular, muscular training exercise such as weight training that decrease the rate of discomfort. It is important in lowering the stress levels and includes exercises such as walking, aerobics or swimming. Massage is another option that relieves pain substantially.
