When someone says Mercedes Benz I think of sleek, cool, even a little tough †you know, like the tough guy in the REO Speedwagon song who â€drives women wild, when he drives up in the Mercedes Benz†or the glamour of the â€big brown Mercedes sedan†from the Sheila E. song. One thing that doesn’t usually come to mind is â€green†and sub-compact. But Mercedes Benz is keeping up with competitors by getting into the small car business. Buyers of Chicago Mercedes Benz new cars will be happy to know they will now have a more eco-friendly option in the Mercedes line-up. Competitors BMW and Audi have thrown their hats into the small car arena and Mercedes Benz, not to be left in the dust, has followed suit. Rumor has it that Mercedes is working up a sub-A-Class car to rival the likes of the Megacity. Whether you’re looking for a California dealer or a Chicago dealer, Mercedes customers can be sure that whatever Mercedes rolls out you will find a welcome niche among loyal customers and raise the bar for green transportation everywhere. Auto industry spies think the new little Mercedes model will be as long as the original Mercedes A-Class, more than a foot shorter than the current model. So, we don’t know much about what the model will look like. Size, frame and even features are all speculation at this point. What we can assess is the potential market. Green and smaller cars have been gaining in popularity and market share and this model should only help boost that share. Dealers of Chicago Mercedes Benz new cars will also benefit from a new market share and will have even more options to offer their customers and may even attract a whole new area of clientele. And who doesn’t want a more economical option? Even luxury car owners are looking for ways to save a few dollars in this economy and a more ecologically-friendly car will appeal to most of the buying public. Customers of Chicago dealer Mercedes also will have an opportunity to stick with their preferred luxury brand and still be environmentally conscious. The picture may look a bit different in a smaller luxury vehicle, so this model may not end up as the icon in a series of pop songs. But if some eco-conscious teen idol does immortalize it in music, when the hero pulls up in his new sub-compact Mercedes Benz, the song may sound more like â€he breezes up in his clean, quiet coupe and whisks her away to a dinner of organically-grown vegetablesâ€. The thing is, in today’s culture that’s about as sexy as you can get.
