The infections is characterized by a fever and itchy, red spots usually appearing on the chest and stomach first, then appear in crops over the entire body. The red spots turn into small blisters that dry up and form scabs over about a week.

Chickenpox is one of the classic childhood diseases. A child or adult with chickenpox may develop hundreds of itchy, fluid-filled blister that burst and form crusts. Chickenpox is caused by a virus.

The virus that causes chickenpox is varicella-zoster, a member of the herpesvirus family. The same virus also causes herpes zoster (shingles) in adults.

Chicken Pox Treatment

2.Good care at home can help in treat Chicken pox. Home remedies or medications to reduce the itching sensation can help the patient from discomforts.

3.A cool water bath will also help in this process. The patient must be covered with cool water after every 3 or 4 hours.

Home Remedies for Chicken Pox

1.Baking soda and water: Mix teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water. Then, sponge this on the infected person. When this dries it decrease the itching and irritation

2.Honey: Pure honey helps heal the scars within three days.

3.Vitamin E Oil: When applied, the scars disappear quickly.

4.Brown Vinegar: One-half cup of brown varied in bath water helps sooth the itch, and comforts the skin.

5.Oatmeal Bath: Two cups of oatmeal and two liters of water are boiled together for 15 minutes. Put this cooked oatmeal combination into a cloth cotton bag, and dip it into the bathtub.
The child can play around in the tub, as the oatmeal seeps from side to side the cloth, leaving a comforting film in the bath water. This helps sooth the skin and heals the scars.

6.Green Pea Water: Take the water that has been drained from making peas, and let it cool. Then sponge this on the skin. This help aid in the disappearance of the scars.

7.Carrot and Coriander: 100 grams of carrots and 60 grams of coriander should be cut into small pieces and boil together. This should be done once a day.
