What do our duties comprise of? For starters we have duties to love, care, nourish and protect our families and loved ones. But we have higher duties than that as well. We have duties to our world, our environment, our society and our community. In the world as it exists today, people have become somewhat apathetic towards their duties. It is not necessarily an evil, because the world as it exists today has made us what we are. With our tight schedules and jobs and so-called important activities, some where along that road of success, we have perhaps forgotten to take a breather and look at the bigger picture. A fund raising event is coming very soon to the Banderas Bay area hosted by PEACE, which is a non-profit organization. PEACE stands for Protection, Education, Animals, Culture and Environment, which makes it an organization working for multifarious purposes. This fund raising event will take place on the 18th of July this year, 2009 at the Los Afortunados Restaurant Bar which is situated in Sayulita. This fund-raising event will take place at 8.00 p.m. This extraordinary event is open to everyone and therefore both the locals and the tourists should come and enjoy it. This event also has no cover charge so you may come and have a good time. Live Reggae and Rock music will be playing for your entertainment. You can also take part in the raffle and get lucky; this could be a great chance for you to win amazing prizes! The prizes that you may win include trips and tours around the bay, surf lessons, meals from different restaurants, and art. And you know what the best part about this event is going to be? Well, all of this, is for a grand cause, so whatever amount you spend for the raffle, it is going to be utilized in providing aid for all who are in need. The money which is going to be raised for this event is going to be divided into four programs of the PEACE organization. These four programs are: Ayuda Los Animales (Help The Animals), Casa Comunidad, Community Pride and Women's Co-Op (Manos de Mujeres Unidas). Each raffle ticket is going to cost you only $ 30 pesos which will also include a complimentary glass of Sangria. So the number of raffle tickets you buy will coincide with the help that you would be providing to this organization’s noble cause.
