Compare Olive Bridesmaid Dresses With Other Colors

By: Home | Shopping-and-Products | Fashion-Style

You are all set to buy a set of olive bridesmaid dresses for your bridesmaids because you love the fresh color of olives. Wait, before you went ahead and buy the olive bridesmaid dresses, perhaps it is a good idea to consider other colors. Bridesmaid dresses comes in many colors and all hues of the rainbow so it is wise to take a look around other colors before you seal the deal with olive dresses.

Equally fresh, are yellow bridesmaid dresses. This buttery soft color is bright and cheerful, not only fresh. It is the color of sunshine and will definitely bring cheer and add a light tone to your wedding. Yellow dresses come in all shades too so there is buttery yellow, bright sunshiny yellow, orangey yellow, pastel yellow or even greenish yellow that leans slightly towards olive. It is the color of summer, it is the color of cheer and it is best for something so joyful as a wedding. It blends in very well with bridal flowers made up of lilies, sunflowers or white roses.

For something more arresting and attractive, you could check out red bridesmaid dresses. Ruby red is an attention grabbing color that is full of passion and fire. In a shade that is slightly lighter, it is the color of romantic nights. You could even get dresses in descending tones of reds from light to dark so that you have all the passion, fire and romance all in one. Red is the color of celebration. You may not be into bright red, but you can always go for a deeper red, like the deep rich color of red wine. This color has its beauty and can be just as attractive. You can match red bridesmaid gowns with flowers in this shade or even something that suits from blood red roses to white roses to tulips.

Sick and tired of bright colors? Why not go for something calmer and cooler like blue bridesmaid dresses. Blue is the color of calm and permanent. From azure blue to the ocean blue, you have a choice of breezy, fun attires or the serious, formal deep blue of a dark moonless night. The wonder of blue is that you can go for dresses that lean slightly towards green so if you love green, you will like cyan. It is just as fresh and jazzy as olive. From this extreme, you can go to the other extreme of purple which is a combination of blue and red. A bit more red, you get magenta. There are just so many beautiful hues in blue that you are hard pressed to choose one that you really like.

Next is the girly sweet pink bridesmaid dresses. Pink is another old favorite amongst many brides as it is not only feminine but has the remnants of romance and sweetness. It is all about innocence and cuteness, which some brides like. Best of all, this color goes very well with pink roses, red flowers, white calla lilies and certain shades of yellow flowers. It is especially wonderful for an outdoor garden wedding that is not too formal. While it is not exactly casual, it is chic and trendy.

Your wedding is a very special occasion and you should really choose wisely when picking out bridesmaid dresses for your bridesmaids. You will want their attire to blend in with your wedding theme from the bridal flowers to even your hand bouquet. Clashing colors will only create some discord that may mar an otherwise perfect wedding ceremony.
