Confidence Could Build Good Retaliation In Street Fight Circumstances

By: Clint Jhonson Home | Recreation-and-Sports | Martial Arts

To make it clear from the beginning, my fighting tips in this section do not concern situations in which you go out there, confront a street combat situation, with your bare hands and absolutely no knowledge of street fight moves. On the contrary, mastery of street fight moves is essential in any street combat. Going out there with only your confident look to face your adversaries will simply amuse them. On the other hand, the display of confidence in front of your opponents †while you ARE in possession of mastery of fight moves †is essential in showing them that you feel and you actually are in control.

If you are ever in a street fight, you must seem and be certain that you will be the victor. Some of the best fighting tips concern the control over emotions. Well, such fighting tips are closely related to this display of confidence. However, what you display must also be felt inside you. In other words, you can merely put the mask of confidence while within you are completely terrified and convinced that you are going to lose the battle.

Coolness as to your ability to win is overriding. In its absence, the loss of the fight is only a matter of time. Moreover, while you are confident in mastery of fighting tips and moves, do not forget to make a correct appreciation of your opponent’s mastery of the same aspects. In other words, do not be as thick as to assume that your adversaries know nothing about street combat moves. Most probably they have attacked you because they know more than just a few fight moves.

Does it all look like a matter of estimation? Well, it truly is one as such. You need to calculate appropriately your moves and to anticipate properly the adversary’s skill and moves. When the adversary makes his or her first move, street fight rules tell you that you need to react. Even if you did not know these rules, you would still be aware of the fact that you need to do something. The first thing concerns your attitude. It all begins at the mental level, which later (later is actually immediately in street combat circumstances) transmits the right commands concerning the suitable fight moves.

I do not assume that any of you has imagined that you could win a street fight by means of a mere display of confident attitude. Attitude is important, but it is not everything. My point: retaliation in street combat takes place at complex levels. Mind-set and body training blend to create the perfect fighter out of you. You cannot let your attitude alone to do the job.

Does it sound complicated? Well, it kind of should seem like that, because street combat is not a matter to take for granted. Do no go instantly off your rocker when you are attacked; you might lose control over your emotions in such a manner. On the other hand, a bit of that â€berserk†attitude could help you, as long as you are able to apply, at the same time with approaching it, the moves that you have learned. Keep cool and put into practice your finest fight stances †you will see the situation with a clearer eye.
