The Calibre is an open source and free eBook library that manages applications from eBook users. This iPad book converter software can be used to convert any electronic documentation either in PDF or other formats into the format compatible for used in the iPad. This enables users to manage their eBooks collection such as sort, tag, rate, or download metadata. Basically the converter is able to run on any Windows, Linux and also Mac OS X. There are a few steps to using the Calibre converter. Firstly you will need to download and install the software. The interface may vary for different versions of the software. You can obtain the guides on Mac although common users should be able to handle the installation easily. After installing the program you can search for the PDF or other formats of the file you wish to convert. You initial encounter with Calibre will bring you through a setup process. Here you should specify your eBooks folder where it will be the location you use to save your e-Pub files. Next, continue the setup of the iPad book converter software by selecting the Apple in the manufacturers list. For the devices list, you may select the iPhone or iTouch plus the stanza. Then click continue and you will be able to view the main interface of the Calibre. Select the â€add books†option situated at the top-left corner of the window. This is to import your PDF files into the Calibre software. Continue with downloading the metadata and cover files. Then the Calibre converter will start to download extra information about the eBook if there is any. You will need to key in the title and author manually if they were not present during your initial loading. After that, proceed to convert the eBooks. Select convert individually for every list that appears. When done, there will be a summary window indicating that the iPad book converter software will perform the final conversion. You can locate the folder when the conversion finishes. Next connect to your iPad and start the syndication process then you can view it in your iPad.
