Never use abrasive detergents or scouring powders that contain chlorine-based bleaching agents. Using them will weaken a top's seam threads and remove essential oils in vinyl tops that are needed for protection against the sun's UV rays.

Never wash the top in the direct sunlight wash them only in shade. Before wetting the top make sure that it is cool. Once you have wet the top, thoroughly spray a light coating of top cleaner evenly across it and gently work the cleaner using a soft sponge or brush to scrub away dirt. And after cleaning, rinse off the cleaner while brushing by using lots of water from a nozzles hose and Continue until the sudsiest stops and the rinse water runs in clear form.

After washing, allow the top to dry up completely before you fold it down. This will prevent them from molds and mildew.

After cleaning is done use a top protectant to preserve the color and texture of the material. This will also prevent them from fading and cracking and additionally help repel dirt, grease and oil.

Remove the droppings of birds immediately.

Don't let snow to accumulate on your top.
